Relational Maturity Revisited: Parent

Tennison & Ginelle Barry Season 3 Episode 13

Maturity stages build on each other.  They have a compounding effect.  You cannot fully complete any stage without having completed the one before it, so it's important to go back and check for gaps and work on getting those closed up, so you can more fully be who God created you to be in your current stage of life.

You will know you are at the parent stage when you can sacrificially care for your children or the next generation without resenting the sacrifice with joy or expecting to receive anything for your efforts.  You may feel exhausted or overwhelmed at times but you still will be able to appreciate, not begrudge, your sacrifice. The parent stage of maturity starts with the birth of your first child and goes until your youngest child becomes an Adult.

Join Tennison and Ginelle as they begin to unpack the Parent stage. Discover the needs that every parent will need from their community to be fully mature in this stage. Just like every stage you fully mature over time. Get ready for the journey!
